I started this blog because I grew sick and tired of being angry and disappointed about what I see and experience in America each day socially and politically, and in the Catholic church (small “c” – the institutional church) in America and doing nothing about it. Except screaming at the television, my PC, my family, and cursing under my breath every time I am reminded of the social and political degradation that is all too apparent in our society today. So thanks to some consistent prodding by my good friend Bernie to blog, I finally gave in and decided to do something positive about how I feel.
I do not believe I am omniscient or even an authority on the issues I will write about here. But I do believe that part of God’s will in my life is to write, and thus expressing my thoughts here fulfills that responsibility. I have something to say and want to be a mouthpiece for those who feel like I do, but are silent. I want to do my part to bring some clarity and Truth to a world where liberalism and its hallmark – intellectual dishonesty – frames too much of the discussion. If I can impact one person’s mind and lead them to the Truth, it’ll all be worth it.
