Well, a little bit about me. I believe it’s important for readers to know me; where I come from, who I am, what I believe, what I’ve experienced. And so this page and all the sub-pages here are meant to allow you to get to know me and to understand the basis for these posts.
I’m a 47 year old married father of three; John Thomas -15, Allison Lee – 12 and the latest edition to Voiland family, Jessica Anne - 2 years. I’m married 18 years to my beautiful wife Leanne.
In the Carolinas
I’m a business owner, Catholic and Conservative and a hopeful sinner. My days are spent attempting to lead my family, run my business, stay in touch with my parents and siblings, love my wife and kids and to focus on serving our Lord the best I can, the latter being the most difficult, but He never said it was going to be easy.
Leanne and I lead a very traditional life with our three treasures, the kind of family life that we both remember growing up in when Americans were much more socially responsible and much less self-serving and self absorbed. We want that kind of life for our children however impossible that may seem these days.
John is a great kid and athletics is his love, just like his dad. Allison is a very-mature-for-her-age young lady who is always smiling, very responsible and dance is her passion. And then there’s Jessica. Well Jessica is 2 going on 13 years, shows all the signs of being very independent and headstrong with an infectious personality. What a gift God has given this family with her arrival. Leanne is my best friend and has held me together for so long now. A convert to Catholicism, she’s a successful businesswoman who now focuses on raising our kids; I’m truly blessed. My hope is that you find some value, and more importantly
